The upper portion of the larger pane on the right side is the course video; when you scroll down, it collapses into a smaller screen at the top of the browser window and enables you to go over the coursework text without hindrance.
The lower portion of the pane shows four tabs:

• a course overview with a short profile of the instructor;
• links to learning resources, and a course summary;
• an interactive Q&A; a Notebook tab for notes marked out; and
• the video transcript.

Video Quality:

All course videos are shot in HD and are clear in terms of both audio and visual quality. However, if you’re using a mobile device to access your courses, it could drain your battery and other device resources. Plus, if you’re in an area with a spotty internet connection, you may experience lag time in streaming. Still, it's fortunate that a text transcript ensures learners don’t miss anything.

Layout:

One issue I have with the LinkedIn Learning layout is that, visually, it feels quite heavy with the dark sidebar on the left.

While the left-hand sidebar is collapsible, it still feels cumbersome as the course video does take up the full width of the screen and turns into a chunky bar at the top of the page as you scroll down.

Community Interaction:

Take note that, while LinkedIn occasionally holds live online events, most of the courses are pre-recorded, and interaction between instructors and learners is limited to the Q&A tab of the course. Exercises are downloadable and can be done at the learner’s own pace without the need for further supervision.

In case a learner feels that the course needs improvements or something is wrong, one can give feedback through the feedback tab at the right bottom corner of the page.
