About Client:

Inspired Design is a high profile interior designer and decorator based in Billericay, Essex. They offer residential and commercial interior designing, decoration, redecoration and refurbishment in Essex and the surrounding areas. They also prepare show homes for the builders to impress the potential buyers.

They also offer specialised services like Dental practice interior designing and Veterinary clinic interior design.

The team is led by Michelle Frawley who is an award winning designer, founder, and Director of Inspire Design Interiors Ltd, with over 17 years’ experience in the industry.

The agency has won several awards and accolades including Enterprising Women awards finalist, Essex countrywide Business Award 2009 and has been mentioned in literature like English Homes and Merc Benz.

The Goals:

Inspire Design Interiors had a long success story on offline reputation and wanted the same for their online reputation. Their online presence and reputation needed to be improved considerably since they wanted to more customers from Essex where the competition was fierce in the interior design field. The client wanted top ranking for their interior decorating services and more specifically from Essex. Thus, it meant they should be able to rank prominently in local searches in Essex as well. In order to achieve all this, they needed also Google Local Positioning as well as positive reviews.

They wanted our landing page optimisation service to convert their incoming traffic.

The Strategy:

Stuart Kerrs approached this project by giving priority the steps which would yield the fastest results first. Thus, we started with targeting the keywords which would yield the high search volume and also which are most likely to convert. We selected a good mix of keywords which were both generic keywords and long tail keywords. The website was consequently altered to make more SEO friendly. Each page was optimised and we worked on every detail on every page such as ALT tags for images, metadata, title, image compression, rich snippet optimisation and also header tags.

We then proceeded to work on the contents of each page giving special attention to have engaging, rich and informative relevant contents for each single page and more specifically the blogs. To make sure the blogs were updated on a weekly basis, a content calendar was created for the client. The services provided were rewritten so that we could insert the selected keywords. Links were created which fall under a definite link building plan so that a more organic ranking would be achieved and we made sure that the link building plan came from highly reputed websites.

As for the local ranking requirement, we inserted local keywords on the website to get listed on Google Business and Google Maps. We then proceeded to get the maximum reviews from the clients on Google.

The Result:

The client’s website started getting more traffic almost immediately after these steps described above were applied. The 10 keywords which were selected started to rank within merely a couple of weeks. The consequence was that 82% increase of traffic inflow was noticed. Since the CTR for the keywords were high also, more traffic started coming as a result. We kept the bounce rate down by 10.12 % which ensured the SEO success and also an increase in revenue for the client.

Returning visitors count went up by 78% which proved that the visitors liked the site. Other positive metrics noted were time on page and pages per session which all indicated that the visitors were happy.

Local SEO received the same positive and very encouraging results. Since the local keywords ranked really prominently, the client received an increasing number of queries. The % increase for the local traffic from Essex was 84%.

The overall positive impact was that the client’s revenue from online services went up considerably and they realised a good ROI on their digital marketing investment.
